This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

It executes the downloaded files. As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.

This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Trojan creates the following folders:

  • %System Root%\ProgramData

(Note: %System Root% is the root folder, which is usually C:\. It is also where the operating system is located.)

Download Routine

This Trojan accesses the following websites to download files:

  • https://dl.{BLOCKED}usercontent.com/s/{BLOCKED}p7r55qr1h206h/Flash_Players2.exe

It saves the files it downloads using the following names:

  • %System Root%\ProgramData\IndirilenDosya.exe - detected as TROJ_DROPPER.DND

(Note: %System Root% is the root folder, which is usually C:\. It is also where the operating system is located.)

It then executes the downloaded files. As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.

Step 1

Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Step 2

Note that not all files, folders, and registry keys and entries are installed on your computer during this malware's/spyware's/grayware's execution. Step 3

Remove malware/grayware files dropped/downloaded by TROJ_DLOADE.DND . (Note: Please skip this step if the threats listed below have already been removed.)

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_DLOADE.DND .
